Documentary-style photography coverage of your labor, delivery, and postpartum experience
These photographs might look a bit different from my usual work, and that's because they capture real, raw, deeply-moving personal moments as you bring forth your baby. Your birth space is holy and sacred, and I honor that by photographing you in your space as-is. My focus is not on perfect lighting or re-touched photos, but telling your story as it is, as it unfolds.
Birth photography services always include the full gallery of photographs because this is an event that you should never have to pick and choose what you want to remember. Doula services are included at no extra cost (unavailable for Beginnings Birth Center). My heart's desire is to come alongside you in your birth and support you in whatever ways you need. I can be hands-on supporting your laboring body, or simply beside you whispering encouragement or a prayer.
Birth was never meant to be accomplished in isolation. I choose to step into the tradition of thousands of years of women supporting women birthing their babies and encouraging the discovery the incredible, holy, God-given strength that rests within all of us mamas.
Birth Photography & Doula Services
My heart in coming alongside you in your motherhood journey is to be ALL in. For this reason, I only offer one birth package that includes birth photography AND doula services at no additional cost to you.
Please note that at this time, I am only able to provide photography services at Beginnings Birth Center as they do not allow one person to fulfill two roles.

- On call beginning at 37 weeks
- Full photography coverage beginning in active labor through 1-2 hours postpartum
- 2 prenatal visits
- 1 postpartum visit + dinner!
- Full gallery of photographs from your birth

What is doula support?

When I step into your birth journey as your doula, my number one goal is to stand beside you and support the birth experience YOU want. I'll help you find your voice and ensure it is heard, if necessary. For centuries women have supported other women as they become mothers - serving as witnesses in the birth space, honoring and encouraging the birthing mama in her God-given power to bring forth life. Wherever you are most comfortable birthing, I will help prepare you for the experience and, if necessary, support you when plans must pivot.
Your birth is about YOU, your baby, and your family. It is first and foremost a normal, natural life event, and rarely a medical one. I'm here to support, educate, witness, and encourage you in whatever ways you need as you experience the pregnancy, labor, and delivery of your precious child.
Documenting these moments as your photographer is a natural partnership of services, and honors your experience all the more, which is why I have chosen to offer these two services concurrently.
